SUMMER CAMP 2025

No, your child can attend one week, a couple weeks, or all summer. Attendance is up to the parents and their availability for camp.

No, your child does not have all the field trips. The YCO will be closed the day of field trips as all staff and children will be at the field trip destination.

If a child has an IEP in place at their school, the YCO must receive a copy of that form to be reviewed by the team.

Because the YCO does not employ specialized staff to support students with specific disabilities and/or behaviors - the YCO has a system in place to provide a safe environment for all students with appropriate accommodations.

The team will review the documentation the parent/guardian provided, conduct a family interview with the child, and if applicable will conduct a one day program trial.

After this process, the team will evaluate what needs can be met and what challenges can be supported by trained professionals (one-on-one aides, behavioral technicians, etc.) The parent will be responsible for providing a one-on-one aide and/or a behavioral technician to support the child when they are present at camp if deemed necessary.

If the aide or technician is not present at the program, the child may not participate. The YCO will take all the appropriate steps to support the family, child, and trained professional to provide an inclusive environment.

We understand plans change. We will issue a refund for any cancellation requests received at least one week in advance (the Monday before) with a $15 administrative processing fee. We will not issue refunds for summer camp that is paid in full. Other requests will be taken on a case-by-case basis.
